How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

huali1405Please re-enable the option to never combine the taskbar labels and also the ability to drag and drop.

Dec 25, 2021You could try Startisback, that will bring you the options to put taskbar small, top/right/left/bottom also change startmenu 🙂 Also will bring back the never combine taskbar labels 🙂 It has a free trial but I think ti is worth it 🙂

If there is demand, there will be supply 🙂
The whole situation is a joke, of course.- knick95Dec 26, 2021Iron ContributorΤhis missing feature ("never combine") is so obviously useful for everyone and it makes you wonder what the hell they were thinking in MS offices when they decided to eliminate it. My personal opinion is that they are not going to correct it, so I will stick with Explorer Patcher which solves many win11 taskbar problems and becomes more and more stable with every update, the current update is 22000.348.39.1 (2021-12-24). And please don't listen to the noobs saying that it's garbage, it works just fine.

DeletedThe point is that this option was built-in Windows without the need of a 3rd party app before Windows 11.
- DeletedDec 25, 2021I see, though the taskbar, icons are too big to allow for taskbar labels, I have like a full taskbar of icons, it will be too unprodutive for me. I got used to it 🙂
