    The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Vishmay, you are 100% right - our solution should NOT be to find workarounds to a bad change to the software. I am a computer user, not an operating system expert who wants to mess with the operating system to get the computer to do what I want. This needs to be fixed by Microsoft.

I totally agree, but until MS fixes it I can have all the properties of the good old Win 10 taskbar (including the "never combine" feature) with the use of Explorer Patcher.
