How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
How to let windows 11 "never combine taskbar buttons"?
- Jul 30, 2024The November 2023 update added “never combined” mode on the taskbar for Windows 11. To find this feature, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors. Set Combine taskbar buttons and hide labels to Never. It also added a separate setting for turning this feature on for other taskbars when you use multiple monitors.

Seriously, removing customization for the taskbar is not only stupid and bad for productivity - it also compromises accessibility. I’m autistic and ADHD - legit just had a meltdown over this feature not being there because it makes my computer unworkable. Customization for workflow isn’t just about productivity, it’s about general accessibility. You can leave it simple as a default but this is genuinely awful. Early in the thread it was said this would change in an update but it’s been almost 2 months since then. Microsoft, fix this ASAP bc this is the worst move since windows 8. Will switch to apple over this

chemstudent Yes great. Windows just copied macOS. I hate macOS due to less productivity.

A computational chem mentor uses mac so clearly it’s good enough for that
