How to get apple music for free on my computer?

Relatively new to using Apple Music services on my Windows laptop, and I usually listen to music on my computer while working or studying. Recently, I became interested in Apple Music because of its large music library and good audio quality, but not sure how it works on a Windows PC or whether there are any free options to try it first.

Currently,  I was force to leave Apple Music service as the trial is ended. The problem is that all my payment options were rejected and I can't use it anymore. I'd like to know if there are any legitimate ways to get apple music for free on a computer.

Another effective way to get apple music for free is using a dedicated apple music downloader software.

You're considering alternative music players that can potentially offer free access to Apple Music content on your Windows computer. AIMP is a popular music player that can help you access Apple Music content without paying a subscription fee. Here's how to get Apple music for free:

AIMP is a free, open-source music player that supports various streaming services, including Apple Music. While AIMP itself is free, you'll need to consider a few options to access Apple Music content:

Apple Music Web Player: You can use the Apple Music web player on your Windows browser, which is accessible for free. AIMP can connect to the web player, allowing you to stream Apple Music content.

Apple Music API: Some third-party apps, like AIMP, have integrated the Apple Music API, which enables them to access Apple Music content without a subscription. However, this might not work if Apple blocks the API access.

Apple Music Jailbreak: To get Apple music for free. There are some "jailbreak" methods and scripts available online that can help you bypass Apple's paid subscription model. These methods usually involve installing a third-party app or modifying your system. Please note that these methods are not officially supported and may void your warranty or compromise your system's security.

You can use Gamdl, a command-line software application designed for getting free Appel Music that a user already has legal access to through a paid subscription. Its stated purpose is to allow users to download and convert content from services like Apple Music into open, non-DRM formats for permanent, personal archival purposes.

Ensure Python (version 3.7 or higher) is installed on your system and added to your PATH.

Open a command prompt (CMD or PowerShell) and install Gamdl using pip, the Python package installer. The command is typically:

    pip install gamdl

The basic command format in your terminal is:

    gamdl [OPTIONS] URLS...

By default, Gamdl will download the audio streams, decrypt them, convert them to your chosen format (e.g., MP3, FLAC, ALAC), embed metadata and cover art, and save them to a folder in your current working directory.

Gamdl is a powerful, technically sophisticated utility to download or get Apple music for free. Its operation hinges on a user's ability to provide valid, subscription-based credentials and navigate a command-line interface. Crucially, it is not a tool for obtaining free Apple music.

  • APLMate is a simple web-based tool that lets you download Apple Music tracks for offline listening without installing any software. It works directly in your browser, so you can use it on Windows, macOS, or even Linux as long as you have a modern browser.

To get apple music for free, open Apple Music (web or app) and copy the link of the song, album, or playlist you want to download. Then go to aplmate.com, paste the Apple Music URL into the input box, and click the download or convert button to start processing the track.

After a few seconds, APLMate will analyze the link and show available download options, usually in MP3 format. Choose your preferred quality, click download, and the file will be saved to your computer for offline playback.

Keep in mind that tools like APLMate are mainly for personal use and testing. Downloading Apple Music content may violate Apple’s terms of service in some regions, so it’s best to use it responsibly and only for music you own the rights to or have permission to download.

How to get Apple music for free? If you're looking to get Apple Music for free on your Windows computer, I'll break down the options for you:

    1. Free Apple Music for Public Libraries: This program allows public libraries in the United States and Canada to offer free access to Apple Music to their patrons. To qualify, you'll need to have a valid library card from a participating library. You can check with your local library to see if they offer this service.

However, this option requires you to be a patron of a participating public library, and you'll need to use the library's network or the library's Apple ID to access Apple Music.

    2. Apple Music Free Plan: Apple offers a free plan for Apple Music, but it's limited to 6 months on an Apple device (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) and 3 months on a non-Apple device (e.g., Windows computer, Android device). This free plan includes access to Apple Music's entire music catalog, but it's ad-supported and has limited features compared to the paid plan.

To get Apple Music for free on a Windows computer, you can sign up for the Apple Music Free Plan on the Apple Music website. You'll need to create an Apple ID, which you can do by following these steps:

    a. Go to the Apple Music website and click on "Join" in the top right corner.

    b. Select "Free" and follow the prompts to create an Apple ID.

    c. Once you've created your Apple ID, you can sign in to the Apple Music app on your Windows computer (if you have it installed) or access Apple Music through the web player.

Keep in mind that the free plan has limitations, such as ad-supported listening, limited features, and a shorter trial period compared to the paid plan.

In summary, about how to get Apple Music for free on your Windows computer, the Apple Music Free Plan is likely the most convenient option. However, if you have a valid library card and live near a participating public library, the Free Apple Music for Public Libraries program might be worth exploring.

  • For Apple Music, this is a generous, no-strings-attached (with one small condition) offer that gives you full, unrestricted access to their entire catalog of over 100 million songs, along with all features like offline downloads, curated playlists, music videos, and spatial audio. This method requires no risky software, violates no terms of service, and provides the complete, intended experience, allowing you to fairly evaluate if the service is worth the subscription price afterward.

The official Apple Music free trial. This is not a loophole or a hack; it's Apple's own invitation to try their service.

    What You Get:

Full Access: Identical to the paid Premium tier.

Duration: Typically 1 month free. Promotions for 3-6 months are occasionally offered with new device purchases or through specific partner deals.

Features: Ad-free listening, unlimited skips, offline downloads on computer and iPhone, access to lyrics, music videos, and live radio.

    Requirements:

An Apple ID (you can create one for free).

A valid payment method on file. This is the key condition. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.

How to get apple music for free

    1. Download and install "Apple Music" or "iTunes" from the Microsoft Store or the Apple website.

    2. Open the app and sign in with your Apple ID in the top-left corner.

    3. You will see a prominent button for "Try Apple Music Free" or "Start Trial." Click it. This will help you get apple music for free on a Windows PC or Mac.

    4. A window will appear asking you to review the subscription terms and confirm your payment method. You must enter valid details. This is for verification and to ensure seamless continuation if you choose to pay.
