How to fix iphone keeps restarting every a few minutes after update
To fix iPhone boot loop, the most reliable free solution is to use a computer. This will reinstall the iOS software and fix any corrupted system files that are causing the restart loop.
How to fix iPhone boot loop:
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer using a USB cable.
2. Open Finder (on Mac) or iTunes (on PC).
3. Put your iPhone into "Recovery Mode." While it's connected to the computer, do the Force Restart button sequence for your model again, but this time, don't let go of the last button. Keep holding it until you see a screen with a picture of a computer and a cable.
4. A Window will pop up on your computer saying there's a problem and giving you two options: Update or Restore.
- First, try "Update." This will attempt to reinstall iOS without erasing your data. This is the best-case scenario.
- If "Update" fails or your phone keeps restarting, you will need to try "Restore." This will erase your iPhone and install a fresh, clean copy of the latest iOS. After it's done, you can set up your phone and restore your data from a backup.
Important Warning: The final step of this process will erase everything on your iPhone. However, you will have the option to restore all your data from a backup afterwards. If you have a recent iCloud or computer backup, you won't lose anything.
