iPhone keeps restarting every a few minutes? If the force restart didn't work, let's rule out a few simple, common causes.
- Check Your Battery: A battery that is too low or failing can cause restarts.
- Plug it in: Connect your iPhone to a charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Sometimes a nearly dead battery can cause this behavior.
- Check Battery Health: If you can get your phone to stay on long enough, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging. If the "Maximum Capacity" is below 80% or it says "Service Recommended," the battery itself might be the problem.
- Free Up Storage Space: If your iPhone's storage is completely full, it can cause major problems. If you can briefly access your phone, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. If it's full or nearly full, try deleting some old videos, photos, or large apps you don't use.
If you have tried all of the above (especially the "Restore" option with a computer) and your iPhone keeps restarting every a few minutes, it unfortunately points to a hardware problem. The most likely culprits are a failing battery or another internal issue.
At this point, your best and safest option is to contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider. They can run proper diagnostics to find the exact hardware problem and fix it for you. Given that you've already tried the free software fixes, this is the next logical step.
