On Windows, you can convert TIFF to JPG in batches while maintaining good visual quality by using tools that let you control the JPEG compression quality during export.
- Built-in Windows options
If you only have a small number of files, you can open the TIFF image in Paint or Photos, then choose Save As → JPEG. This works fine, but it isn’t efficient for large batches. - Image editing software with format export
Some desktop photo tools allow you to import TIFF images and export them in other formats. For example, HitPaw FotorPea supports importing TIFF files and exporting them as JPEG/JPG, and you can optionally enhance the image before saving. For reference, JPG and JPEG are essentially the same format, so either extension represents the same file type. - Batch workflow tip
When converting many images, try to set the JPEG quality to around 90–100. TIFF is typically a lossless format, while JPEG uses compression, so using a high quality setting helps preserve most visible detail.
This approach should work well on Windows if you’re converting a large number of TIFF images and want to keep the output quality high.
