How to Completely Remove Sign-In/PIN at Start-Up in Windows 11

1. Begin by navigating to Settings > Accounts > Sign in options. Scroll down to "Additional Settings" in the middle of the page. Ensure that "For enhanced security, restrict Windows Hello Sign-in to Microsoft accounts on this device (Recommended)" is switched OFF.

2. Open netplwiz, select your user profile. If the option "user must enter a username and password to use this computer" is NOT ticked, please tick it, then click Apply. Next, untick the box and click Apply again. This will trigger a pop-up window.

3. When the pop-up window appears, it is critical to avoid common errors. Make sure to delete the prefilled username. Your username should be your entire Microsoft account email address, and the password should correspond to your Microsoft account's password.
