How do I monitor employee computer activity?

We run into the same issue after switching to remote work. We tried Hubstaff for maximum monitoring. The app is generally good, but it has very aggressive monitoring features, like activity score percentage. Our employees showed so much resistance to this that some of them were ready to resign.

Then we switched to a more transparent software called Apploye. Employees responded positively to this lighter monitoring software. I can see what they are doing through app and URL tracking, as well as random screenshots. If employees have any issues, they can turn off the monitoring with HR's permission. Additionally, I did not find anyone bypassing Apploye. Plus, it is more cost-effective.

Apploye worked for my company. I don't know if it will work for yours, but it’s definitely worth checking out.
