MediaInfo is a free and open source audio/video analyzer with no paid features. It integrates the free command line APE to MP4 converter plug-in to support APE to MP3 conversion in a graphical interface, supports batch processing and 320kbps high-quality output, and is originated from a credible open source community and widely praised. It is suitable for converting APE to MP3.

Step 1. Download and install
Go to the official website and download the proper version for install.

Step 2.Import APE files
Open the software, click Add File, find the location of APE files, support batch selection.

Step 3.Configure MP3 Output
Choose MP3 in Output Format, tap Audio Settings, set Bitrate to 320 kbps and set Output Path in Output Folder.

Step 4. Convert APE to MP3
To start converting, it takes about 10-30 seconds to convert a single song, batch files will be processed automatically, you can check the progress through the progress bar.

Disadvantages: MediaInfo has some shortcomings, such as the need to install the additional plug-in of about 10MB, and its conversion function depends on the plug-in completely, and the interface function is rather basic and lacks advanced editing options.
