How do I change background color of image easily?
Microsoft Paint can be used to make simple modifications to images, such as changing background color of image, but it has limitations. If you want to change the background color of an image—for example, replacing a background with a solid color—Paint alone is quite basic and may not provide precise control, especially for images with complex backgrounds.
How to change background color of image using Microsoft Paint:
1. Open your image in Paint.
2. Use the Select tool (usually the rectangle select) to highlight the part of the image you want to keep.
3. Cut the selected area (Ctrl + X).
4. Create a new blank canvas with the desired background color:
Go to File > Properties.
Set the canvas size if needed.
Fill the background with your chosen color using the Fill with color tool.
5. Paste your cut image onto the new background (Ctrl + V).
6. Move the pasted image into position.
7. Save your new image.
No transparency support: Paint doesn't support transparent backgrounds, so you can't easily remove complex backgrounds or create transparent images.
