I once needed to save text messages from Android phone to my computer, and since I didn't want to install any additional apps, I used the old-school method of email. It's really easy to do, just select the messages in the SMS app on my phone and use the share function to send them directly to my email.
- Open the SMS app on your phone: Find the text message you want to save.
- Share to email: Long press the text message, select the "Share" option, and then select your email app.
- Send email: Send the text message as an email to your own email.
- Access email on your computer: Log in to your email and get the text message from your email.
When I got to the computer, I logged in to my email and the text messages were waiting for me in my email. I saved them to my computer so that if anything went wrong with my phone, these important messages would be backed up. This method is simple but very practical, especially for situations where you don't need to back up a lot of text messages frequently.
