If you search online for a way to downgrade iOS without a computer, almost all results are misleading. The technical reality is that all official and most reliable downgrade methods require connecting your iPhone to a Mac or a Windows PC. 

According to multiple reputable sources, including Apple's official support communities, you cannot downgrade your iPhone's operating system without using a computer.

To revert my iPhone to older iOS 18, the only thing you can do on the iPhone itself is remove the beta profile. However, this does not " revert my iPhone to older iOS 18 "; it only stops future beta updates from appearing. Your phone will remain on iOS 26.

Before you go through the effort of borrowing a computer, you must check if a downgrade is even technically possible. Apple stops "signing" older iOS versions a few weeks after a new one launches, which prevents any downgrade.

You can check this almost instantly on any device with a browser by going to a website called ipsw, me. Select your exact iPhone model. If iOS 18 appears in red as "Unsigned," then no method can help you downgrade. You would be stuck on iOS 26 regardless.
