How can I recover deleted files from SD card on Windows 10?
Hi everyone! I really need some help here.
I just got back from a trip and was organizing my photos and videos from my SanDisk SD card on my Windows 10 laptop. While sorting through the files, I accidentally deleted a whole folder directly from the SD card. I immediately checked the Recycle Bin, but the deleted files weren’t there.😭
Has anyone successfully recovered files in a situation like this? Is there any free SD card recovery software for Windows 10 that actually works? I'm open to paid options too, as long as they’re trustworthy and have a decent success rate. Would really appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thanks in advance!

Hey Daniel, no worries. You’re definitely not the first one to run into this. If your SanDisk SD card is a retail purchase, it likely came with a free 1-year (or in some cases 2-year) license for a data recovery tool called RescuePRO. The activation code should be printed on a paper insert inside the SD card packaging — hopefully you haven’t thrown that away yet!
Immediate action is crucial—the longer you use the SD card after deletion, the higher the chance that new data will overwrite your files, making recovery harder.
