How can I create a QR code for my website for free?

I want to make a qr code for my website so people can scan it with their phone and open the site quickly. I think this would be useful for sharing my website on flyers, product packaging, social media pages, or even during offline events.

My challenge is that I am not sure what the best way is to create qr code for website. There seem to be many QR code generators online, but I do not know which ones are safe, whether I need a static or dynamic QR code, and how to make sure the QR code works properly on both Android and iPhone.

How do you usually create a QR code for a website? Do you use an online generator, a design tool, or some desktop software? I would also like to know how to test it, download it in good quality, and make sure it stays readable after printing.

Ensure the URL embedded in the QR code is accurate and correctly formatted before creating QR code for website. A typo or incomplete link can lead users to the wrong page or result in a dead link, defeating the purpose of creating a QR code for a website.
