JademisaQ The Paint app on Windows 11 is a simple graphic editing tool that comes pre-installed with the operating system. It allows users to perform basic tasks such as drawing, editing images, and saving them in various formats. While it doesn't have advanced features like Photoshop, it is useful for simple image conversions, including converting images between different formats.
How to Use the Paint App as PNG to ICO Converter on Windows PC:
- Press the Windows key and type Paint, then select the app from the search results.
- Once the Paint app is open, click on File in the top-left corner.
- Choose Open from the dropdown menu and select the image you want to convert. Paint supports several image formats, such as BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, and GIF.
- Select Save As, and a menu will appear showing different file formats you can save the image in ICO.
- Navigate to the folder where you saved the file to confirm that the conversion was successful.
Paint in my Windows 11 install does not have an ICO format option.
