How can I convert audios to mp3 in windows 11?
If you're thinking about using Audaciity to convert audio to MP3 on Windows 11, there are a few downsides you might wanna keep in mind—based on my own experience and what I've heard from others.
First off, Audaciity doesn’t come with the MP3 encoder built-in by default anymore because of licensing stuff. So, you'll need to install the LAME MP3 encoder separately. That’s just an extra step that can be a bit annoying if you're in a hurry.
Second, while Audaciity is pretty powerful, it’s mainly designed for editing audio, not just quick conversions. So, if all you wanna do is convert audio to MP3 on Windows 11, it might feel a bit overkill—plus, it’s a bit clunky for simple tasks. You might find dedicated converters faster and easier.
Third, sometimes the interface can be confusing if you’re new. Settings like bit rate, quality, and other options can trip you up if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. It’s not super straightforward for beginners just trying to do a quick convert.
Lastly, for batch conversions (like converting a bunch of files at once), Audaciity isn’t the best. You’d have to set up a macro or do it one by one, which is a pain if you’ve got lots of files.
