How can I change the default properties for a specific folder type like Music?
I have come across batch files online that claim to modify the properties of all folders across all drives. While I am satisfied with the default settings for "General," "Pictures," and "Videos," the default setting for "Music" is more suitable for albums than singles. I prefer my "Music" folders to display "Name/Length/Year/Comments," and since my file names include "Contributing Artists" in the format of "last name, first (The) - song title," I want to ensure that any batch program will only affect folders currently designated as "Music."
Additionally, I am curious whether my customized default settings for "Music" will be preserved during and after performing an update.
- You can change Properties Inside the Music Folder. Right-click on a Music Folder >Select Properties.
Customize Tab >Go to the Customize tab and select Music as the folder type. Optionally >Set any specific attributes that would apply directly to the individual folder.
