How can a screenshot tool open a new window directly instead of just displaying a notification?
I would like the screenshot tool to automatically open the screenshot in a new window, rather than just copying it to the clipboard. Is there a way to achieve this, or is the current situation the only option?

By default the Windows Snipping Tool copies the screenshot to the clipboard and shows a notification. To make it open directly in a window, open Snipping Tool settings and enable “Automatically save screenshots” and disable “Automatically copy changes.” After that, screenshots should open in the editor window instead of only showing a notification.
