Hibernate broken after Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26220.5770 (ge_release_upr)
My hibernate seems to have broken after Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26220.5770 (ge_release_upr). The computer goes to hibernate, but no state is saved.
Things I have tried:
- disabled fast startup
- reset power configs to default
- rebuilt `hiberfil.sys`

Yeah, that’s a known bug with that Insider build — a few users on Reddit and Feedback Hub reported hibernate not saving state after 26220.5770. You can try disabling Modern Standby in BIOS (if available) and then re-enable hibernation with
powercfg /h off powercfg /h on
If that doesn’t help, rolling back to the previous Insider build or switching to Beta channel usually restores proper hibernate behavior.

Since this is an Insider Preview build (26220.5770), this is likely a bug that Microsoft needs to fix. Insider builds often have temporary regressions like this.
