Help with win xp and intel g41 chipset
Please help me before a take an axe to my new machine.
I am running windows xp embedded on a lga775 motherboard /intel g41 with a core2 processor. After installation there are 4 hardware driver issues and after 2 days of downloads and trying to fix they remain. Two of them I can fix. But when win restarts it trys to update the hardware and I'm back at the beginning. HELP

Windows XP is trying to install drivers that it thinks are correct based on its internal driver database, but they are likely generic or incompatible with your specific G41 chipset and onboard devices. When you install the correct drivers, Windows detects the "new" hardware and tries to update them again, leading to the cycle.

Okay, deep breaths! Don't reach for the axe just yet. Running Windows XP Embedded on modern-ish hardware like an Intel G41 chipset can be challenging, as official support for XP on that hardware is non-existent. However, it's not necessarily impossible.
