tried uninstalling feature / quality update no luck.

tried system repair no luck

tried diff commands from cmd no luck

atlast went thru Dell OS recovery Assist

Now I just have option to RESET back to factory . Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix without loosing data.

Like temp solution . once i get into desktop I can download all important files then reinstall new fresh windows.

  • 1. Roll back updates: Open “Settings” > “Update & Security” > “Recovery”.
Select “Rollback to previous version” and follow the prompts to complete the rollback.
    2. Check the system files:
Open a command prompt (with administrator privileges). Run the following command:
    cmd
    sfc /scannow
Wait for the scan and repair to complete.
    3. Update Driver: Open “Device Manager”.
Right-click on the device and select “Update Driver”.
Select “Automatically search for updated driver software”.
    4. Use System Restore: Open “Control Panel” > “Restore” > “Open System Restore”.
Select a restore point and follow the prompts to complete the system restore.
    5. Contact Microsoft Support: If none of the above methods work, it is recommended to contact the Microsoft Support team and provide detailed error messages and screenshots for further assistance.
