Help me find out what takes up so much space on my laptop
Something somewhere feels like sitting on like half my storage right now, not sure how to find it but its pretty annoying bc i cant download any more steam games, not the big ones anyways. what might be causing this?

I usually make use of a 3rd party tool called TreeSize from JamSoftware to do a deep dive in my local drives.
It’ll give you a colorful map showing what files and folders are the biggest space hogs. You can easily spot giant files or folders you don’t need.
Sometimes, backup or recovery partitions or system restore points can take up space without obvious files. You can manage restore points via:
Control Panel → System → System Protection → Configure.
