Green screen, progress stays at 0%, unexpected store exception
I walked away from my system and when I returned I had a Green screen saying my insider build had a problem and the system is gathering information. The progress however remained at 0%. I did a hard restart and my system is functioning again. I looked in the minidump folder and there is nothing there for today but there are minidumps there therefore I assume my system is configured to save them. The main problem is if Microsoft gets no information about the problem then they will be unaware of the problem.

Hey there! If you're dealing with a green screen issue and the progress stuck at 0%, it can be quite frustrating. I'd suggest trying these steps to troubleshoot:
Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your system is up-to-date; sometimes updates include fixes for such issues.
Update Drivers: Ensure your graphics and chipset drivers are current. Visit the hardware manufacturer's website for the latest drivers.
Check for Hardware Issues: Run checks on your hardware using tools like Memory Diagnostic for potential problems with RAM or hard drives.
Review Reliability Monitor: Press Win + R, type 'perfmon /rel', and hit Enter to check error reports related to the green screen. It provides a timeline of system events.
Event Viewer: Open it (Win + X, select 'Event Viewer') to find critical or error events around the time of the issue under 'Windows Logs' and 'System.'
Review Dump Files: Look for Kernel memory dumps in C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP, even if there are no recent minidump files. Analyzing them might provide additional insights.
Check for Known Issues: Visit the Windows Insider Program website or relevant forums to see if others are facing similar problems with the same build.
Contact Microsoft Support: If the problem persists, reach out to Microsoft Support for more advanced troubleshooting and personalized assistance.
Hope this helps!- SimpleSamplesCopper ContributorYou say "Visit the Windows Insider Program website or relevant forums". I thought I was doing that here. Am I wrong?

SimpleSamples You're correct, and I appreciate your clarification. Apologies for any confusion. Since you're already engaged in discussions here, you can indeed share your experiences and seek help within this context. The suggestion to check the Windows Insider Program website or forums was to encourage exploring additional resources beyond our conversation for more community insights and potential updates from Microsoft. However, discussing the issue here is entirely appropriate.
