Green screen of death and failed update

Hi Guys,

Recently, I've been getting green screens of death, with a stop error code of unexpected_kernel_mode_trap

All drivers have been updated to the newest version so I'm not sure what else it could be, anyone able to shed some light on this?

Also, I have been having issues getting a windows update installed too, could be the reason why i'm getting the GSOD but I'm too sure.

Is there anyway to force this update through? I've tried looking to get a standalone update for this but there's none available online. I've ran sfc and multiple disk checks, no registry faults can be found in it either.
