Frequent, but irregular, Windows system sounds from computer
My HP desktop makes occasional (about every 15 seconds) system sounds while running- but not when being actively used. Any suggestions on how I might track down the source of the sounds?

So, there you are with your HP desktop, minding your own business, and every fifteen seconds it’s like your computer is having a panic attack. It’s making sounds like it’s auditioning for the lead role in a horror movie! “In a world where silence is golden… one desktop breaks the peace with its sulking!”
