Forgot Pin and trying to reset but window closes before I can get a reset code
I just bought my new PC and it comes with Windows 11 Pro. I configured the PC apparently with a log in PIN that I don't remember. I found the process to reset the pin [settings>account>Sign In Option...
I forgot my PIN, and I attempted to change the PIN after signing in with my microsoft account. Repeat, I was already signed in. I clicked "Forgot PIN" and it asked for my recovery ID. But the dialog box timed out seconds after before I had even finished typing in my recovery ID. THE STUPID DIALOG CLOSED IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS !!!!! I attempted to try again, and after 10 seconds gave up. DO NOT CLOSE THE DIALOG SO FAST. !!!!! Wait 2 minutes. I am a fast touch typist but I make mistakes when I am very angry.
