Feature Request - Pin to all taskbars, but "show my taskbar apps on Taskbar where window is open"
I wish the taskbar would behave the same for all monitors, and it's somewhat like combination of "All taskbars" and "Taskbar where window is open" for the setup item "When using multiple displays, show my taskbar apps on".
The behavior would be detailed as below.
1. All taskbars basically behave like the current main taskbar. It means the taskbar on each monitor would contain the start menu, pinned icons, system tray, etc.
2. Taskbar items, such as Search, Task view, Widgets, and Chat in the current Win11 setup page, may have the option to select which taskbar/monitor to display instead of the current simple on/off option. It means a user can initiate searching or check widgets from any monitor.
3. Besides pinned applications, the app icons (i.e. taskbar apps) have the option to be shown on "Taskbar where window is open" as what has been offered right now. Actually, I feel only two options are needed here, "All taskbars" and "Task bar where window is open". The option "Main taskbar and taskbar where window is open" may not needed any more.
4. When open an application from a taskbar, it should be opened on the same monitor. Or provide an option to open either on the same monitor or on the monitor where it was opened previously (either in the Personalization setup or in the right-click menu, or both).
5. Maybe, provide an option (e.g. Ctrl+Hovered Over, Longer Hovered Over Delay, or Right-Click menu) to allow to switch to apps on other monitors from a taskbar, if "All taskbars" isn't the selected option.
Main reason I'd like to have this feature is, for now, I have to use the "All taskbars" option to see pinned apps on all monitors, so I can easily open an app from the taskbar no matter which monitor I'm at. However, the new window may pop-up at any monitor depending on where it was. In most case, I have to drag the window over.
Hopefully the changes required here is manageable, and it can be realized sometime soon. Thanks!
