Do I really have to upgrade to Windows 11?

Do I really have to upgrade to Windows 11? It says my PC does not have the proper hardware?

Simple, normal online gamer here. Do I really have to upgrade to Windows 11? It says my PC does not have the proper hardware. So I don’t have to upgrade to 11 for security purposes? I do have to pay bills online and game sometimes online. I have not had a problem in six years and don’t want that to change. So I can keep running 10? What will happen if I keep running 10? Thanks for the help from a low tech guy.

Microsoft recommends upgrading for the latest security features, performance improvements, and new features, but Windows 10 is still supported and secure until October 14, 2025.

Windows 11 has certain hardware requirements (like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot) that your current PC might not meet. But that doesn’t mean your PC is outdated or unsafe.
