Device Discoverability is BROKEN on Insider build 25941.1000
Windows 11 laptop is still not "DISCOVERABLE" even though the "Nearby sharing" settings page states that it is and is set for "Everyone nearby". Everything is correct so the issue is with the device ...
- No. It doesn't help because this is a two-way street and Android isn't Windows 11. Androids don't detect; or if they do, they are unable to send to a Windows 11 (laptop) machine.
Sending from Windows 11 to an Android phone is fine and works but you can't do it the other way around. It's because of Google's Nearby Share functionality and Google is the problem. Android is made by Google btw. Error: Inaccessible Boot Device

Just tested with two of my computers both on the same Microsoft Account with the setting toggled to every device nearby.
Tried right clicking a file in the File Explorer (Win Key + E) and then clicking share (note: if sharing from a onedrive location, click the three dots icon in the onedrive share button to access the local windows sharing option)..
It was able to detect my other computer to share to though when sharing from the photos app, it didn't show a option to share to another device (only for Outlook and contacts).
Hope that helps and feel free to report the issue on Feedback Hub (Win + F) and there is a option to record the issue as well!
