Custom taskbar for each virtual desktop

It would be great if we coud customise the task bar for each virtual desktop, For example, if I am at home, I don't want work related apps on the taskbar and vice versa. Otherwise, what is the point of having a virtual desktop? Each desktop is surely created for a specific purpose? Why have a taskbar that has all the apps for all your virtual desktops? You create that desktop to focus on one specific environment, MS has dropped the ball here. This is an obvious function to have on each desktop, otherwise just stick to one and be done with it.
