ctrl+shift not working together
I am running windows 11 21H2 and suddenly I am not able to use the left shift+ctrl together. Tried changing language settings typing methods as well. Some issues I am facing are: - Unable to inspect...
Souvik17 For me the problem only happens due to KVM, since it uses the Left Shift and Ctrl keys for switching between computers. What works for me, instead, is using the Right Ctrl + the Left Shift + whatever key completes the default shortcut I'm trying to use.
Wow! Thanks! I've started using KVM couple of weeks back and didn't notice that issue (although I read about that KVM feature in the manual, but never used it).
Recently I plugged my logitech wireless dongle into different KVM USB port, and suddenly started getting that "left ctrl not working issue".
I didn't relate it to the USB port dongle switch at all, and I completely forgot about this KVM feature. I started looking for solution thinking that some app took over the key combination, and found this post with your reply.
I moved the dongle back to the original KVM port, which, apparently, for some reason, does not "listen" to this key combo, and I can use my left ctrl again, as normal.
