CPU not supported in Windows 11

I have a desktop that uses the I7-6700K CPU.  I ran the compatibility test "WhyNotWin11.exe", for Windows 11 and everything passed except the CPU.  I am surprised and disappointed that Microsoft is not making Windows 11 to be more compatible with these CPUs.  I hope the development team will correct this issue before Windows 11 falls flat on this face.
