Cortana Down On Windows PC Desktop
Whenever I ask it to do something, it just makes a ringing noise. What is up with this? This is not the first time this has happened and it does not happen when I use Cortana on my Harmon Kardon Invoke speaker.

Cortana was discontinued in 2023. Its functionality is now replaced by Windows Copilot and Voice Access. You may consider uninstalling Cortana.
Cortana stores temporary data (cache) to run quickly. If this cache becomes corrupted, it can cause the app to malfunction in exactly this way.
