I'm experiencing the same problem with opening photos and PDF files. This issue started right after the Windows 11 24H2 update.
After the computer has been on for some time, multiple attempts to open files result in the application starting in suspended mode in Task Manager. In my case, disabling CFG did not resolve the issue.
