Change CM is CPU while retaining Windows PC
I want to change the current configuration but keeping Windows 10 installed, my programs are personal files (on the same disk no partitions). OEM license
my current Windows 10 is on a Samsung 870 QVO MZ SSD but before replacing the processor is the motherboard, I would like to clone it to a Crucial P3 Plus 2To M.2 PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD.
Is it possible
then which boots normally on my new config at startup
I am replacing an ASUS MAXIMUS RANGER VII CM which is an Intel I7 4970K with an MSI B760 B760 GAMING PLUS WIFI CM which is an Intel I5 13400F.

Use a reliable disk cloning tool. Connect your new Crucial P3 Plus SSD via M.2 slot or an external USB adapter/enclosure if your motherboard doesn’t have an extra M.2 slot.

Yes, it is definitely possible to clone your current Windows 10 installation from your Samsung to your new Crucial P3 Plus NVMe SSD, and then boot normally on your new motherboard and CPU setup.
