Certain Windows 11 Menus Have White Text and White Backgrounds

1. Immediate solutions
Press Win + R and enter the following command to force a theme refresh:

timeout /t 1 /nobreak && taskkill /f /im explorer.exe && start explorer.exe
Switch to dark colour mode:
Settings > Personalisation > Colours > Select mode as ‘Dark’.
2. System level fix
 Reset the display settings:
Open Settings > System > Display
Click on ‘Advanced Zoom Settings’
Enter ‘100’ and apply (cancels custom scaling)
 Clear theme cache:
Delete the folder:
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Themes
Reboot your computer.
3. Registry Repair (Administrator Rights)
 Force reloading of UI resources:
reg
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes]
‘LastThemeError"=dword:00000000
(Save as .reg file and double click to run)
4. Check key services
Make sure the services are running:
Run services.msc
Verify the status of the following services:
Themes (running)
Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache (Automatic)

Create a new user profile:
Settings > Accounts > Other Users > Add Local Account
Log in to the new account to test
