can't upgrade to windows 11 insider preview 10.0.26058.1100 (ge_release) error code 0xdx0000034

i am using a surface pro x 1876 model

I did not have any luck with OS build 26080.1100
same result as before
again updates paused

  Well crap. I dont know what to tell you to help out. I literally just waited until this morning. Havent changed any setting or deleted any setting up updated drivers.

    I *just* succeeded in installing build 26080 from Windows Update! It took well over an hour, but no unexpected issues or hangups.
    I did however get a warning from "Program Compatibility Assistant" on the first boot, about AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys not being able to load on this device, apparently, this driver is vulnerable and must be blocked... Doesn't seem to affect anything, tho'...
    
    Only thing I have changed on my system since all the failed attempts at 26052 and 26058, is the boot order - now booting from NVMe with GRUB, then choosing "Windows Boot Manager on /dev/sdb1" to manually boot Windows. Previously the Windows drive was set as the main boot device. Not sure if this has anything to do with it working this time.
