I suspect it will still be a driver issue. Most of the reported issues with this release are from AMD users.

Same issue here. AMD Ryzen system with AMD RAID XPert, AMD Chipset and AMD Radeon drivers/software installed.

Surely it's a problem with AMD drivers. I solved it by uninstalling them (I had AMD Adrenaline 24.1.1 installed). Then I restarted the PC and performed the Windows upgrade (10.0.26058.1100 ge_release). Once it was completed, I reinstalled the AMD drivers without any issues.- GrumpyOldGuyMar 08, 2024Copper Contributor
gbonaiuti Do you also have the RAID Xpert or AMD Chipset drivers installed?
I did uninstall Adrenaline 24.1.1 but did that as Windows was also applying the patch the last time... Still had the lockup.
I can try uninstalling RAID Xpert and the chipset drivers I guess...- JDNSLVApr 07, 2024Copper ContributorAfter several attempts (for weeks), even uninstalling the AMD drivers (Adrenaline 24.1.1), it still didn't update build 26058. Today, I disabled the graphics card in the device manager. So the update to build 26058 worked. And I've already upgraded to the 26100.

I'm on intel, no AMD whatsoever, and still can't install this update. So surely it is not AMD (only) issue.
- Andrew998Mar 08, 2024Copper ContributorAs I said, almost all the reports of this issue are AMD systems (not just on this site). That said, it is almost always a driver issue so I would try uninstalling any driver not native to your system.

the only thing that work with amd is FSR3. anti lag, driver, everything else not working
