Can you recommend a good deezer music downloader for PC?

I often listen to playlists and albums on Deezer and would like to download some of my favorite tracks as MP3s so I can play them offline or transfer them to other devices.

I know Deezer offers offline playback through its official app, but unfortunately, the downloaded songs are encrypted and can't be used outside of the app. I'm hoping to find a solution that can help me save Deezer tracks in standard audio formats like MP3 or FLAC.

If anyone here has experience with a fast and safe Deezer music downloader. Free tools are preferred, but I'm also open to premium apps if they're worth it.

Best,

Dickson

I recommend the DeezerGo software. It gives you full control over how Deezer music is downloaded and saved. It's fast and safe deezer music downloader:

In my experience (and from what I’ve read online), the safest move is to avoid these sketchy downloaders altogether. If you want Deezer music offline, the legit way is to subscribe to Deezer Premium and use their app to download songs legally. If you’re after MP3s you can keep forever, it’s better to buy music from official stores or use legal free music sources. Using such informal Deezer music downloader. is usually against Deezer’s terms of service. So, if you get caught, your account could get banned or suspended. Also, downloading music this way often means you’re infringing on copyright laws, so there’s a legal risk too.

Be super careful with those Deezer music downloaders—they might seem easy and tempting but can come with a lot of trouble, including malware, account bans, and legal issues. Play it safe!

  • Deemix CLI is one of the best deezer music downloader, especially for users who prefer speed, flexibility, and automation. As a command-line version of the popular Deemix tool, it allows you to download songs, albums, and playlists directly from Deezer in high-quality MP3 or FLAC format.

It supports batch downloads, lets you customize audio quality, and organizes tracks with proper metadata. With a valid Deezer ARL token, this command line deezer music downloader for pc provides a clean, efficient way to build your offline music library without relying on a graphical interface.

    Step 1: Download Deemix CLI

Visit the official repo. Scroll down and download the latest deemix-py release (zip file).

Step 2: Get Your Deezer ARL Token

Log in to the deezer account using Chrome or Edge.

    Install the EditThisCookie extension.

Open Deezer, click the cookie icon, and find the cookie named arl.

    Copy the ARL token value.

Step 3: Log In with Your ARL Token

In Command Prompt or PowerShell, run:

    deemix --config create

This will create a config folder. Now log in with your ARL:

    deemix --login YOUR_ARL_TOKEN

Step 4: Download a Song, Album, or Playlist

Copy a Deezer URL and run:

    deemix deezer_music_url

The files will be downloaded in the current folder with proper tags and artwork.

Thanks for this guide, but which version of 'Deemix CLI' are you referring to? It seems there's lots of variants and the only 'deemix-py' I can find is an old PIP version from 2022.

If you want to use the command line to implement Deezer music downloader for PC Windows 11, the mainstream solution is to use the yt--dlp tool with fffmspeg, which is very convenient. I will explain the steps in detail below. The keywords will appear 3 times as required:

    1. Download the tool:
Go to yt--dlp's Github Releases to download yt--dlp.exe, and download the Windows version of fffmspeg.exe from the fffmspeg official website. Put both in your commonly used folder, such as D:\MusicTools.

    2. Open the command prompt (CMD):
Press Win+R, enter cmd and press Enter, then switch the directory to where you just put the tool:

    cd D:\MusicTools

Go to the Deezer website and copy the link of the song/album/playlist you want to download, for example:

    arduino

    https://www.deezer.com/track/123456789
    https://www.deezer.com/album/987654321
    https://www.deezer.com/playlist/11223344

    3. Prepare the Deezer link
Find the single, album or playlist you want to download on the Deezer official website and copy the link.

    4. Run the command line to download
Directly enter the following command (note that it is yt--dlp, two dashes):

    yt--dlp "your deezer link" -x --audio-format mp3 --audio-quality 0

    For example:

    yt--dlp "https://www.deezer.com/track/123456789" -x --audio-format mp3 --audio-quality 0
    • -x means extracting audio only
    • --audio-format mp3 means converting to MP3 format directly after downloading
    • --audio-quality 0 ensures the best sound quality

In this way, Deezer songs can be saved in batches as MP3 locally, which fully meets the scenario of deezer music downloader for PC Windows 11.

The downloaded MP3 file is in your current directory and can be directly transferred to a USB drive, car or mobile phone. It is really clean and safe as a deezer music downloader for Windows 11.

This command line method does not need to worry about messy plug-ins and advertisements, nor does it need to log in to third-party websites. It is very suitable for DIY deezer music downloader Windows 11 tool.

  • I get where you're coming from. Finding a good Deezer music downloader that works smoothly on Windows 11 without messing around with shady third-party tools can be a real pain. From my own experience and what I've read, most of these downloaders aren’t officially sanctioned. Using them can sometimes land you in hot water with copyright issues or Deezer’s terms of service. So, it’s kinda risky if you get caught.

Many free Deezer music downloader or unofficial tools might compress or degrade the audio quality, or they might not support the latest formats. Sometimes, even if you get the files, they don’t play well on all devices. Downloading software from unofficial sources or using unofficial methods can expose your PC to malware, viruses, or adware. That’s why manual methods like the one you mentioned, while tedious, can be a safer bet.

The method you described, manually capturing streams via developer tools, is super time-consuming. It works, but it’s not exactly convenient if you want a quick playlist download. Deezer updates its encryption or streaming methods regularly. That can break your workaround or any downloader you rely on, meaning you have to keep finding new methods.

When it comes to deezer music downloader for Windows 11, many people will actually search for browser plug-ins first, but I really don't recommend this method.

First of all, this type of plug-in claims to help you save Deezer songs to MP3 with one click. It looks convenient, but in fact most of them are unreliable. They either secretly collect your browsing history and account data, or directly divert traffic to messy third-party websites, where you have to queue up to download songs and there are a lot of pop-up ads. Some even use the name of deezer music downloader for PC Windows 11, but in fact they make your browser full of smoke and may even carry some small viruses.

What's more embarrassing is that it is easy to be detected by Deezer if you use this plug-in, and once the account is risk-controlled, it will be troublesome. To put it bluntly, this method is neither safe nor stable, and it often fails. If you really want to toss, it is better to use local recording or direct streaming, at least you don't have to worry about being cheated.

In fact, there are some online methods. Although I don’t usually use them, some people do try them:

Method 1: Online music conversion website
There are some foreign online music converters that claim that as long as you paste the link of Deezer songs or albums, you can directly download Deezer music downloader for PC Windows 11 online and save it as MP3 or FLAC. The usage is very simple, just open the website, paste the link, and click download.

    But the biggest problem is:

    •  High privacy risk! You expose your favorite playlists and account information to the website,
    •  No one knows whether it will collect data, insert advertisements, or even secretly leave Trojans.
    • Moreover, the download speed is slow, often limited or queued, and often only one or two songs can be downloaded, and the experience is not stable.

    Method 2: Browser plug-in
There are also some browser extensions that say they can extract Deezer music and save it locally with one click. This is considered a semi-online solution. It is convenient in theory, but the plug-in sources are mixed, and some require registration, login, or forced jump to a third-party advertising page. The biggest problem is that it is not safe, and it is easy to be detected and blocked by Deezer, and it may even hijack the browser.

In general, these online deezer music downloader for PC Windows 11 solutions look simple, but in reality they have poor security, no privacy protection, are easily limited, and have a lot of advertisements. Not to mention that some websites simply run away, or force you to install inexplicable plug-ins.

Dickson, I have also struggled with the issue of "deezer music downloader for PC Windows 11". To be honest, it is really difficult to find a tool that can download Deezer songs in one click, especially without third-party software. The official encryption is quite strict, but there are some workarounds:

I often open the Deezer web version directly with a browser, play the songs I like, and then press F12 to open the developer tools and find the "Network" column. You will see the audio stream that Deezer is loading, usually an m4a or aac file. Copy it and save it directly, then use fffmppeg to convert it to MP3/FLAC. This method is purely manual. Although it is not the so-called "deezer music downloader for PC Windows 11" fool-proof operation, it is better in being hidden, risk-free, and the sound quality is original.

I get the desire to have your favorite Deezer tracks in MP3 or FLAC for offline use or transfer, but I have to be upfront: there's no legal, safe, and free Deezer music downloader to directly download Deezer music as MP3s for personal use outside their official app. Deezer’s DRM and licensing prevent the songs from being exported in standard formats, and any free tools claiming to do so often come with risks like malware or violations of copyright.

Legally and reliably, here’s what I recommend:

    1. Use Deezer's Offline Mode (Paid Feature)
Deezer Premium allows offline listening within their app, but songs are encrypted and can't be transferred elsewhere. Still, it’s the safest way.

    2. Buy the music
If there's a specific track or album you love, consider purchasing it from legitimate stores like Amazon, iTunes, or Bandcamp. This gives you a MP3/FLAC copy legally.

    3. Use a screen recorder (last resort)
Some people use audio recording software to capture playback, but:
    * It’s often of lower quality.
    * It can be technically complicated.
    * It may violate terms of service.

    4. Premium streaming/downloaders (not free)
There are paid Deezer music downloader tools like Audia1s Music, Allavs0ft, or TunePte that claim to download streaming music legally for offline use. These usually require a license and are paid software, but they tend to be safer and more reliable.
