The calendar works just fine in win 11. Pin to task bar for ease of use. change settings in Settings/Apps and the notifications appear in the bottom right corner as it does in previous versions.

Kidsolo Yes, the notifications pop up, but the calendar events don't pop up under the calendar like they used to. See screenshot below from Windows 10. Sure, now you can pin the Calendar app to the taskbar, but clicking on it means the calendar app will launch and all that. Before, you could just click on the date/time in the tray and the day's agenda would show right there under the calendar.
This lost functionality is what this thread is about.
