Calendar events disappeared from taskbar in Windows 11 insider build

Yup, same here. Really a useless calendar now in the taskbar; the widget thing is not much better, rather leave widgets off. It is a pain going out to open outlook every time I need to use the calendar; why did Microsoft downgrade?
- Hey ... just click on the taskbar on the calendar and then click on the arrow up. Then your calendar will appear as a month all the time.
- so foolish they make you click a second time, like what other reason am I here for, Oh and look the vertical space is endless, bu we have to compress and click.

There is a program called Explorer Patcher that can revert your taskbar back to the way it was in Windows 10 for free 🙂
Not sure how long that will work out with new builds, anyways Happy New Year!

Yes it opens a date month calendar but none of the agenda items are visible or able to be added or edited, so it is not useful. Need to have full integration with the "Calendar" programme, not with Outlook, back the way it was in Windows 10.
- That isn't the issue. The issue is now we cant click on the dates and quickly view or add to our calendars using the task bar calendar... no one has the issue of not knowing how to view a specific month
