Build 27802 and problems with game launcher applications
For a long time - also for the needs of insider testing of subsequent builds - I have been launching various types of games to check their operation. Unfortunately, on the latest Canary build (27802...
Microsoft oficially announced that they working on the fix for a d3d9.dll crash which is causing multiple apps to fail to launch starting with Build 27802 for some Insiders.

The described problems still occur on the latest Canary 27808 build.
If you use launcher-based programs - I suggest skipping the update to versions 27802 and 27808.
Furthermore, using the DISM.exe startcomponentcleanup command in both of these builds results in the error "Error: 6700 The transaction handle associated with this operation is invalid"
