looks like it's a pretty new bug and Microsoft is aware, but don't think it's something that Windows Defender should block, but rather something in Windows itself needs to change. - Well I can tell you that it's not fixed yet, even in the latest Windows 10 insider dev channel build 21301, I still got green screen of death
