BSOD when connecting Xbox controller via bluetooth

Ugh, the GSOD with the Xbox controller is the worst, right? My PC did the exact same thing after the last update. I have no idea what the actual fix is, but the only thing that worked for me was just switching the Windows Insider setting from "Dev" to "Beta" channel. It basically reinstalls a slightly older, way more stable build.
Until Microsoft sorts this out, I've just been playing with my controller plugged in via USB cable. It's annoying, but at least it doesn't crash the whole system. Maybe if enough of us report it, they'll patch it faster.
