BSOD PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
About a month ago, my computer began to BSOD after only some instances that can’t always be replicated, like hit or miss if you get bsod, but enough to be concerned, I guess.
BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS _THAN_EQUAL/ PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA/ and SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
In all but 2 instances the culprit has been ntoskrnl.exe.
The 2 different instances it was nviddmkm.sys
Current games I’m playing that have experienced the crash: League, Marvel Rivals, Jedi: Survivor BG3.

One likely reason for this type of BSOD is corrupt (or missing) system files, this could be caused by malware. Here are a few things to do:
- Run a full virus- & malware scan.
- Check integrity of system files. Run cmd as Administrator, type SFC /ScanNow, hit enter.
- Check harddrive for errors. Run cmd as Administrator, type CHKDSK <driveletter>: and hit enter.
Another reason could be heat death, if you have overclocked any processors CPU or GPU, try setting them back to normal.
- Run a memory test to check for issues with memory.
And finally make sure all drivers are updated, and that Windows is updated.
If any of this doesn't solve your problem, let me know.
