Boy I Don't Like the 'New' Start Menu

Recent update (beta channel) - forces ALL apps onto Start menu and condenses (expandable with dropdown) my curated list of apps.

They were curated for a reason!

Ugh. That is all.

    Some aspects of the Start menu can be adjusted via Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc) or Registry edits to revert to a more traditional layout, though functionality varies with updates.

    Since you're on the beta channel, these changes might be temporary or subject to further updates. Feedback to Microsoft via the Feedback Hub can influence future design choices if enough users express dissatisfaction.
