cuidado_con_windows I'm facing the same issue of battery drainage and overheating, I'd recommend you a rollback, but if it's been more than 10 days and you can't rollback. Create backups using instructions on youtube and then fresh install windows 10(which will delete all your files), using the backup you won't lose your valuable data at least.

please reply with your battery health in dell battery manager, mine is "good" ie, 3 out of 4.- JoaoGabrielValentimThe1900Copper ContributorComplicated friend. Recently I use dell power manager, I use it as a 50% to 55% load limiter, I only use the battery in case I leave the house and so on. But without a doubt it's like the friend mentioned, I advise you to uninstall the desktop widgets, disable the fast launch in the control panel. On action keys, leave the option off on battery and power. All this you find in the power option in the control panel. In the right corner, look for button actions, enter it and disable fast startup and instead of suspend on battery and plug, put the option off. Windows 11 is bad in this respect, it should have a more consistent battery usage model, as unfortunately I'm forced to say Apple does. Success my friend! I hope it works!
- Abhinand_9534Copper ContributorI have the same issue.. I am using Dell Inspiron 15 series 3505 only 5month old laptop and before upgrading to win 11 I got 5-6hours of battery now only 3hours ...

I am also having the same issue. In fact I have found the battery drained 40% when the laptop was off. I unplugged it at 12pm today, left it with it's lid shut, it's not been turned on for a few days. When I came to turn it on battery was just 60%. I looked at usage and it said fully charged at midday and then 'system' has used 37%. How? It was off and closed. Now after just 30 minutes of web browsing, battery is down to 39% with a single tab open in Firefox. I am running a 2 year old Dell XPS 15 9570 and battery life was ok before the upgrade to W11 build 22463.100, I was on W10 21H1 before.

I was facing the same issue but now i have sort out the solution for the issue
you just need to reset the pc
After that all the unwanted apps which are using the battery and also that apps which isn't important to you will be deleted and the battery optimization will be the old one after resetting the pc.
Thanks me Later if the issue is solved

- blueman0798Copper ContributorI have the same issue after updating to windows 11. My laptop Is a dell XPS 7590. It is draining fast as hell. When I shut it down it completely, Somehow the battery depletes to zero and my laptop won't turn on. I was scared the first day I didn't understand what happened.
- cuidado_con_windowsCopper ContributorI have the same issue, planned obsolescence could be the answer? 😞
