battery draining issue after installaiton of windows 11

Same Issue, with a Brand new HP EliteBook 840 G6, However the battery is RUINED. The HP diagnostics stated Battery Cell Damaged(40) Fuse Failure (41). i revert to windows 10 and windows 10 now would no longer charge the battery. Extremely disapointed of Microsoft.
