Any good youtube mp3 converter for mac in 2025?

I did this a couple of times in the past and you don't need any dedicated app for doing this though. The Edge browser from Microsoft can be used as a valid youtube mp3 converter for mac and it is totally free.
Step 1: Go to the YouTube video you want to download.
Step 2: Press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) / Cmd + Opt + I (Mac).
Step 3: Go to the Network tab. Click the Filter box and type: mime: video/mp4
Step 4: Play the video (or refresh the page).
Step 5: Look for the largest file (usually the highest quality). Right-click it and select Open in new tab.
Step 6: The video will open in a new tab. Right-click and choose Save as... (Ctrl + S / Cmd + S).
⚠️ Limitations:
- Work only for non-DRM youtube videos.
- Sometimes YouTube splits videos into small chunks (fragmented .ts files), making this method unreliable.
